The Surfeit of Blessing
“The Harvest is Plentiful.”
Colorado-based artist Liz Miller seeks to communicate the peace and joy of her faith through colorful acrylic paintings, principally of flowers and landscapes. This pleasant scene is entitled, “Plentiful.” Depicted is a Mediterranean landscape, in a relief of almost comic, impressionistic realism: fields surrounding burst with purple, red, orange, yellow, and green.

For the last 3 years, the Aaronic Blessing has been popularized and memeified via Kari Jobe / Elevation Worship’s setting in “The Blessing.” First performed early in the outbreak of COVID19, the song quickly became a favorite among virtual choirs the world over. This version brings together 67 people from 16 different Arab nations.
